Susan sighed.
After the massive success of Hearthstone's first adventure, Curse of Naxxramas, Blizzard is ready to give players even more to do in the strategic, Warcraft-based card battler.

An upcoming expansion announced at PAX Prime by Game Director Eric Dodds will add about 100 new cards to the game's growing collection, as well as a new type of pack.

Massively spoke with Dodds at PAX, asking if the load of additional cards would disrupt the game's balance.

Dodds agreed that maintaining balance is a challenge, but spoke highly of their internal testing team's ability to keep things in order.

This expansion will be one of several things the Hearthstone team is hard at work on, which also include an Android port of the game and spectator mode.

If you're still working your way through Hearthstone's first expansion, the solo adventure Curse of Naxxramas, check out our guides below.
The Arachnid QuarterThe Plague QuarterThe Military QuarterThe Construct QuarterFrostwyrm LairMassively

Remember that Westworld mobile game? It was a bit like Fallout Shelter, so much so that Warner Bros. ended up getting sued by Bethesda over it? And an article I wrote was used as evidence in the lawsuit? Yeah, that was a fun time in our lives.

It's clearly not been a fun time for the game however, as it's now shutting down entirely. Whoops.

Westworld has already been pulled from the App Store and Google Play as of January 15th, and all IAPs have been disabled for anyone who's still got it installed on their device. The whole park will be shut down for absolutely everybody on April 16th.

pic.twitter.com/y7NS7QeSlX— Westworld Mobile (@WestworldMobile) January 15, 2019
"We are sorry to see the Westworld mobile game go, and had an incredible time creating new content and events for players to enjoy. We deeply appreciate our community’s enthusiasm and participation in the game," says a post on the Westworld Mobile social media accounts.

I can't help but feel partially to blame for this - even though all I wrote at the time was that it "appears to be much in the same vein as Fallout Shelter". There are other factors at play of course - namely that Behaviour was accused of using old code used on Fallout Shelter to build Westworld, which is an entirely different matter altogether.

The lawsuit was settled out of court on January 7th, as reported by my old stomping ground PocketGamer.biz, though no terms were revealed at the time. It seems, however, that shutting the game down was probably one of the terms.

Or maybe it just came at a bad time for the game. We've not heard a peep out of Westworld in a long time, and I don't know anyone who was still playing it. Maybe everything just happened at once, and Warner Bros. thought it best to shut the whole thing down in one fell swoop. We may never know.

Hopefully this doesn't affect the fine folks at Behaviour too much, and we can expect more wonderful games from them in the future. But for now, it's goodbye to Westworld on mobile. We hardly knew you.

Anne said something of this to Gilbert as they walked home.

We knew there was a mobile game in the works based on the ever-popular series, Attack on Titan, but today we finally got a full name and a little bit of detail.

Attack on Titan: Assault, officially developed by GameSamba and licensed by Kodansha, is an RPG runner which aims to give players the same thrilling experience you get from the anime.

"It will combine elements of an RPG and runner features in order to replicate the fast-paced action of the titan battles from the anime series. Players will need to use careful planning--and quick reactions--to survive."

There will also be deeper elements to the game, including multiplayer, but for now we're left guessing what these might entail.

I've got a good idea in my head what the game may play like and what sort of control we should be expecting. Since GameSamba is on the case it's highly likely it'll be free to play, but we'll have to wait for more detail. There's no release date as of yet, but it will be coming to both iOS and Android.

"I heard it once the other night," said Anne. "It IS a beautiful laugh."
