- Classic Mini GameMOD (Unlimited Money) v1.3.0
Slow but steady wins the race.
Ahh yes, Halloween is slowly creeping up and with it, the delicious, new scary titles of the world. According to Broken Window Studios' recent announcement, Grave VR, a new psychological horror will be coming soon to the HTC Vive.

Some of you may recognise the game, or at least the premise. You'd be right as it's a loose prologue of the upcoming PC game Grave, a larger, open-world experience which has been in development since 2014. Some of you may have even played the demo version back when it was available, and it was a heart-hammering doozy.

For those who don't know what Grave is about in any way, it's a single-player experience in which light is your only tool for survival. What's so brilliant about it, is that it looks more into the visceral areas of horror – you're powerless against the creatures and have no weapons to help you out – a little like Amnesia, in that respect.

It's a game about using your wits to survive the night. Where some monsters might shy from a flare or torch, others might be drawn to it like a moth, so you'd best choose wisely.

Check out Broken Window Studios' website here to read more about it. Grave VR will be out on October 25th for $19.99, though if you purchase the game before Halloween, you'll get it at a 10% discount.

"It IS an ugly word," said Anne, laughing. "Avonlea graveyard was full of old tombstones `sacred to the memory of So-and-So, RELICT of the late So-and-So.' It always made me think of something worn out and moth eaten. Why is it that so many of the words connected with death are so disagreeable? I do wish that the custom of calling a dead body `the remains' could be abolished. I positively shiver when I hear the undertaker say at a funeral, `All who wish to see the remains please step this way.' It always gives me the horrible impression that I am about to view the scene of a cannibal feast."

Dex is many things all rolled into one. The Switch newcomer is part Metroidvania adventure, part RPG, with a dash of cyberpunk and a pinch of neo-noir thrown in for good measure. It’s set against a 2D open world that players can explore on their own, non-linear terms.
Clicker Town: Free Idle Tapper Mod Clicker Town: Free Idle Tapper Mod v1.25 (Mod Money) Features:Mod MoneyBuild your town, your way.
Save the Zacks is an upcoming physics-based puzzler that I've now spend a good deal of hands-on time with. The core gameplay sees you attempting to move a handful of small creatures to teleports dotted around each level. You'll do this by messing with terrain, tilting your device to change the direction of gravity, and occasionally sacrificing a little Zack for the good of the many.

Things are almost never as simple as they first appear, and soon you'll realise that this outwardly cute game contains some genuinely shocking moments. Zacks can be incinerated, impaled, and gobbled up by a tentacled creature whose rapid movements have caused me to recoil on several occasions.

Despite the blend of cuteness and nastiness, the game never becomes annoyingly gruesome, which I think is what keeps the occasional shocks so surprising. It's still technically kid-friendly, but there's a real element of danger to its levels that kept me, a supposed adult, on edge. The soothing sound design and unassuming minimalist visuals help a lot in this regard.

And I'm not the only one singing its praises; Save the Zacks earned second place in the mobile category at The Very Big Indie Pitch during Pocket Gamer Connects London in January.

At launch, the game will offer 50 levels to work your way through, though more are set to be added over time. In the build I've been playing, there's an interesting level editor that may be added to the full release further down the line.

I think Save the Zacks will surprise and impress a great many people if they're willing to give it a go. It's a smart, well-presented puzzler with great controls and a nice amount of strangeness to offer. The game's set to launch later this year on both the App Store and Google Play.
In the mood for a great puzzler? Here are 25 of the best for iPhone and iPad
