<p>Sega's first ad for its upcoming Sonic Runners mobile game relied on the nostalgia factor to get people talking.</p><p>It's Sonic, so maybe it worked.</p><p>But for those of you who need to see some gameplay to get excited, there's a new Sonic Runners trailer that has what you need.</p><p>I'm not sure if it's enough to get excited about, but it's definitely gameplay, at least.</p><p>The trailer shows Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles as playable characters, which we already knew, but also hints at a roster of more.</p><p>A good look at the game shows plenty of potential for monetization, too.</p><p>Let's hope Sonic is fast enough to break through a paywall!</p><p>Sonic Runners is headed to iOS and Android this month in Japan as a free to play game with microtransactions.</p><p>Additional release dates have yet to be announced.</p><p>We'll keep you updated.</p>...
